Canine Surgery

My 10 year old dog had to have exploratory abdominal surgery. Because of her breed, the vet used 16 staples instead of standard sutures to help keep her from opening the incision. I started usingK-9Companion® twice a day beginning the day after the surgery. The second day after surgery, she had serious bruising. With the use of the K-9Companion® , the bruising was gone the next day. She started chewing on the staples on the 4th day, but we were unable to get a collar to keep her from continuing to chew. The areas where the staples were being chewed out were closed anyway. By the fifth day, she had chewed out all but one of the staples. The vet was amazed that after only 5 days, the incision was completely closed. There was no oozing or bleeding at all.
